Important Notes on Vaping Products
At present, e-cigarettes are becoming increasingly popular among some adults and teenagers, and some shopping malls even have dedicated e-cigarette counters. However, e-cigarettes are not safer than traditional cigarettes.
There are many varieties and types of e-cigarettes. They are products that use atomization and similar methods to turn nicotine, flavored liquids, and other substances into vapor for the user to inhale. E-cigarette products may be shaped like traditional tobacco products such as cigarettes, cigars, or pipes, or like small gadgets such as mini flashlights, flash drives, or pens. Flavors produced by these liquids, such as cola, mint, or chocolate, can be especially appealing to children and teenagers. 01

What exactly is unsafe about e-cigarettes?
The liquid in e-cigarette devices contains harmful chemicals, such as antifreeze agents (made from propylene glycol or ethylene glycol), diethylene glycol, and carcinogens such as nitrosamines, which can cause cancer.
Secondhand smoke/vapor from e-cigarettes can affect children’s lung development, and its long-term impact on children’s lung health, lung function, and lung development should not be underestimated.
Nicotine in e-cigarettes can cause addiction and may impair brain development.
Teenagers who use e-cigarettes are more likely to smoke traditional cigarettes in the future.
In some cases, e-cigarette devices can explode, causing burns or fires.
E-cigarettes can also be used to inhale harmful substances such as marijuana, wax, or cannabis oil.
The chemical ingredients in e-cigarette devices may vary in concentration depending on the brand.
02

Can e-cigarettes be used to quit smoking?
Using e-cigarettes as a smoking cessation method for traditional cigarettes is not recommended. The long-term effects on both users and those exposed to secondhand vapor remain unclear, and the chemical composition of e-cigarette devices may vary by brand.
Protect children from e-cigarettes. Do not smoke or vape around them, and do not smoke or vape indoors, in cars, or in places children frequently visit. 03
Parents’ responsibility

Do not allow minors to use or come into contact with e-cigarettes, and keep them away from environments with e-cigarette vapor. Make sure children live in a safe and healthy environment.
