The lami SE currently comes mainly in two series: solid color versions and sticker versions. It is an entry-level device in the lami lineup, so the price is much lower than the standard version. The solid color version is priced at 49 RMB, and the sticker version is priced at 39 RMB.

Unlike the standard version, the SE is clearly much more minimalist. The packaging uses a transparent window over the device area, so you can see the device and color at a glance. After opening it, there is a tray inside holding one of the stars of this release (there is only one vaporizer device inside, which is very eco-friendly).

At the top of the device, there are still two strong magnets, two electrode contacts, and an air-activated sensor. It also retains the blind-insert design, which is very user-friendly, but the indicator light has been moved to the bottom. The lami SE pods are compatible with the standard device, which greatly improves its value for money. The airflow holes on both sides are basically the same as those on the standard device, and the draw resistance is also nearly identical (the sticker version has slightly larger holes, so the draw is a bit looser).

The lami SE’s indicator lights (two of them) are placed on the bottom, alongside the Type-C charging port. It is equipped with a 230mAh battery, nearly half the size of the standard device’s battery, and testing shows it takes 19 minutes to fully charge. The SE is lighter in weight, though slightly larger in size than the standard device, which makes it feel a bit shorter by comparison. The body is made entirely of plastic with a baked paint finish on the outside. There are a few minor imperfections in the details, but overall it is still quite good, especially considering that it is just a simple pod device. Although the output power is the same as the standard device at 6W, the vapor production is still a little weaker. While its appearance, battery life, and vapor performance are somewhat inferior to the standard version, the price is only a fraction of the standard model, so the value for money is excellent (if you want to try lami pods, this is worth considering).
