Sincere Advice for Anyone Looking to Buy Vaping Products (Including RELX, MOTI, YOOZ Products)
Reminder: Smoking is harmful to health. This answer is for sharing purposes only and does not encourage smoking.
Introduction:
Currently, there are mainly two types of e-cigarettes on the market: oil-filled and pod-based.
① Oil-filled e-cigarettes are suitable for trendy users and require a certain level of manual dexterity due to their smoke shape.
Advantages: The e-liquid and power can be adjusted by the user, producing large vapor and high playability.
Disadvantages: Poor safety and not easy to carry. Quality control of e-liquids cannot be guaranteed. Even if the quality of the e-liquid itself is fine, frequent opening, closing, and improper storage can deteriorate the e-liquid, causing harm to the body. Therefore, this type of product is not recommended for the average person.
② Pod-based e-cigarettes are suitable for a wide audience, with foolproof operation that can be used right away.
Advantages: Simple operation, easy to carry, and choosing big brand products ensures safety, making it a good alternative to cigarettes.
Disadvantages: Less playability compared to large vapor products, with varying quality and flavors among different products, requiring users to choose suitable products themselves.
As for large vapor products, I personally have not used many types, and overall, my experience has not been very remarkable. From the beginning, as a transitional product for quitting smoking, I have been trying various products to find the best solution for myself.
Let's take a look at the YOOZ grapefruit, MOTI, and RELX brands from appearance to internal structure, and I will share my personal experiences in detail.
First, I started with the YOOZ second generation on a friend's recommendation. Compared to many friends who started with the first generation of RELX and YOOZ, I started a bit late but at a slightly higher starting point, haha.
YOOZ second generation.

① In terms of appearance: The YOOZ second generation has sharp edges and beautiful colors. This was also my first experience with e-cigarettes, so I liked it. If I have nothing to do, I would play with it in my hand. It’s quite fun.
② In terms of internal structure: The YOOZ second generation has limited good flavors (or rather, not many flavors I like), and the vapor production is not large. The time to take a puff is a bit longer, and there can be a burnt taste. The oil leakage rate is decent, not as alarming as what friends have reported with the first generation of RELX.
Next, I started with the MOTI SLITE after watching reviews. From the reviews, this MOTI product hit my heart directly. The first point is the surge mode, which makes the small e-cigarette feel like a large one, which is really impressive. The second point is the cold start, with instant puffing that is always smooth. The third point is the extremely low oil leakage rate, which can be ignored. The fourth point is that the entire pod is clean and rich in flavor throughout. I was so excited that I made the purchase!
MOTI SLITE.
① In terms of appearance: The MOTI SLITE is rounder than the YOOZ second generation, and the grip is comfortable. In terms of color, I chose the macho pink (actually called cherry pink), which feels a bit off for someone my age. I should have chosen the dark night green recommended by the salesperson.
② In terms of internal structure: The MOTI SLITE really lives up to the reviews, as I have encountered almost no oil leakage so far. The flavor of the entire pod has not changed, and when the surge mode is activated, taking slow puffs for three to four seconds produces a large and delicate vapor. The reviewers were not misleading; I was very surprised. There’s also a reverse inhalation feature, which is quite nice and avoids the burnt taste.
The third product I started with is also from MOTI—the MOTIC. I wanted to experience every product they produce now and in the future because their style suits my taste.
MOTIC.
① In terms of appearance: The MOTIC is ordinary and standard, and the weight of the device is not as substantial as the MOTI SLITE.
② In terms of internal structure: The MOTIC has also introduced the surge mode after the MOTI SLITE, but it is not as strong as the MOTI SLITE, though the flavor is still good. The main selling point should be the 2.0ml oil tank pod, which is durable and offers good cost performance.
The fourth product I started with is the RELX fifth generation Phantom. Although I had heard of RELX for a long time, I had not started using it. There are two reasons: ① As a tech-savvy person, I have always been particularly calm about over-marketed products and do not follow the crowd. ② Essentially, I had not found anything that impressed me. I ultimately chose the fifth generation because I saw that RELX started to simplify things in this product, focusing more on user experience.
Fourth, RELX fifth generation Phantom.
① In terms of appearance: The RELX fifth generation is not particularly outstanding, but it feels comfortable to hold compared to the other three models.
② In terms of internal structure: The RELX fifth generation has eliminated the fancy wireless charging feature and added a tidal light power indicator, which was a significant reason for my choice. Secondly, regarding the long-criticized oil leakage issue, the fifth generation has undergone deeper upgrades, but it is still not enough compared to the MOTI SLITE. The vapor production is smaller than my friend's RELX fourth generation. The vapor particles feel a bit rough, and I often cough after taking a puff.
In summary, each brand and product may target different groups, including those concerned about brand recognition, flavor, playability, and the convenience of purchasing purely based on images. Regardless of the purpose, everyone has their preferences.
