Cartridge reviews of major brands

A part of the fourth and fifth generation flavors, this is all I can fit on the table! All flavors I enjoy, especially the cool ones. I assess the stored flavors and trade with local smoking friends if they aren't cool enough.

I bought Yixiyun because the box looks nice!

If I had to pick the best flavor from Yixiyun, it would definitely be Black Xuanbing.

The other flavors are just okay; I usually buy based on the packaging.

I really have a collecting habit, including liquor bottles, bottle caps, antiques, and a cigarette case.

I have tried flavors from the first, third, fourth, and fifth generations.

Personal taste: I like it cool; as long as it's cool, I can handle any strength!

If a flavor isn't cool, I either can't smoke it or can only smoke it for a long time.

Here are some flavors I found disappointing:

1. First Generation Ice Lychee: At one point, I thought it was very cool. I bought it just for the name without trying it first. As you can imagine, it was not cool at all and had a harshness comparable to the fifth generation Tieguanyin. Have you ever tried smoking a pod for a month? It almost made me feel like I was going to pass out, coughing for half the day. I wanted to quit smoking.

2. Fifth Generation Tieguanyin: Mentioned above. This flavor is very harsh, comparable to the lychee mentioned earlier. The tea flavor is strong and harsh. Really... it’s more irritating than cooking in the kitchen. Looking back, it was quite an experience.

3. Fourth Generation Matcha Ice Cream: After trying it and smoking half of it, I pushed this flavor away. Later, I regretted it and ended up paying the price. The initial flavor is a matcha that is neither sweet nor fragrant, the middle notes are icy lemon mint, and the final notes are cool but tasteless.

Fourth Generation Glazed Peach: The advantage is that the peach flavor is strong, somewhat like Huiyuan peach juice, but after a few puffs, the artificial flavor becomes too strong and cloying.

Fifth Generation Taro Ice Cream: Personally, I don't like the taro flavor; it's too sweet, but the taro flavor is strong and not cool.

Fifth Generation Slightly Tipsy Mojito: I have really drunk a lot of alcohol, like beer, cocktails, and some spirits, but this mojito reminds me of the taste of herbal medicine; the first half is too strong, which I don't like, but the middle and later notes are much better.

Fifth Generation Old Ice Pop: The flavor is similar to the old ice pops, but the banana flavor is quite strong, and the last half of the pod has basically no flavor and is not cool.

The only advice for choosing pod flavors is: if it’s not enjoyable, just take your time with it; maybe you’ll quit smoking altogether.
