Recently, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has required e-cigarette retailers in the U.S. to register with the agency. Due to the high registration fees for producing e-cigarettes and e-liquids, these retailers may face the risk of closure.<\/p>
According to reports, under FDA regulations, producing e-cigarettes, related accessories, and e-liquids in the U.S. requires providing complete production formulas and specific manufacturing processes. Depending on the circumstances, registration fees range from $285,000 to $2.6 million. The high registration costs will force many small-scale operators to abandon their e-cigarette businesses.<\/p>
