18 Weiman E-Liquid Review — The Temptation of Adults-Only Appeal

This e-liquid has been around for a while and has long been one of my regular all-day vapes—probably for many others too. The name “18 Weiman” instantly gives off an adults-only, highly tempting vibe. It comes in a 60ml bottle with dark-toned packaging fe

This e-liquid has been around for some time and has always been one of my regular all-day vapes. I believe it’s also a staple for many others. As soon as you hear the name “18+,” anyone under eighteen will probably perk right up—it’s a very tempting name. It comes in a 60ml bottle with black-toned packaging printed with a cartoon skull. Personally, I think the skull looks a bit sleazy. The packaging design is fairly average and has a somewhat knockoff feel. Still, with a name like this, it definitely sparks the imagination. You have to admire the manufacturer’s creativity.

The name “Under 18” actually comes from the fact that it contains a blend of 17 flavors, including ruby grapefruit, passion fruit, guava, mango, lychee, watermelon, lemon, green apple, pineapple, banana, strawberry, sour plum, wax apple, mangosteen, apple, and pomegranate. It’s a complex multi-fruit blend, but the layers are clearly defined, and each flavor can be tasted carefully.     Whew, that’s exhausting. So many flavors! Of course, some of the fruit types overlap, but fruits in different forms do taste different.     The warning labels are comprehensive. The e-liquid volume is 60ml, nicotine strength is 3mg, and the VG/PG ratio is 7:3. And finally… where is Chinese? Where’s the Chinese labeling? I don’t know if everyone noticed, but there’s one highlight in the three images above: the label states that the flavoring comes from Givaudan. Givaudan is a world-renowned Swiss flavor and fragrance company. I have to say, this definitely earns goodwill from us. After all, when it’s something you inhale, quality ingredients are what matter most. I also confirmed this point with the manufacturer, and the answer was yes.     The moment you open the bottle, a burst of fruity aroma comes out, with passion fruit and pomegranate standing out the most. With so many flavors listed, I was really curious about how it would actually taste. Since this is a cooling-style e-liquid, I used a 24mm wide-airflow atomizer with fancy coils, hoping to achieve a full and balanced instant saturation that would really bring out the fruit notes. I won’t tell you that I’m also a handsome oppa who’s great at cooking! 18+ e-liquid review     Alright, time to vape! To better experience its flavor, I used two different types of devices this time: a tube mod and a box mod. Specifically, they were a Flying Bird mechanical mod and a Kaijia bottom-feeder kit. For atomizers, I also used both dual-coil and single-coil dripping setups: the Motong RDA and the Kaijia RDA.     First, I tried the dual-coil setup: triple-core Clapton, 3.0 inner diameter, five wraps, resistance around 0.15 ohm. I have to say, this e-liquid is really fragrant. Even before opening the bottle, I could already smell a light grapefruit note.     On the inhale, the grapefruit flavor is very obvious. Gradually, the aroma of passion fruit begins to take over the mouth. On the exhale, you can feel a burst of mixed fruits with just the right amount of cooling sensation. It really does make you want to keep vaping. The sweetness is moderate and not cloying, lingering only lightly at the back of the tongue, like having just eaten a crisp, juicy slice of watermelon. Very enjoyable to vape!     Next, I tried the single-coil setup: quad-core Clapton, 3.0 inner diameter, five wraps, resistance around 0.24 ohm. On the inhale, you still get the same grapefruit and passion fruit notes, but the difference is that there’s also a hint of mango between them. The mango flavor is neither too strong nor too weak, and thankfully it doesn’t have that overly floral “air freshener” taste. On the exhale, it’s still the same mixed-fruit profile, just with a slightly weaker cooling sensation. Very pleasant to vape!

My conclusion on this 18-flavor e-liquid is that it is crisp and refreshing, with a particularly interesting progression of flavors. The tangy brightness of the passion fruit really lifts the whole profile, the cooling effect is blended perfectly, the fruit aroma is rich and fragrant, the throat hit is smooth and compliant, and the vapor density is quite good. It should be especially appealing to experienced users, because the longer you vape, the more you want to find something new in terms of flavor. The freshness of this 18-flavor blend should definitely satisfy that desire!     As the saying goes, no person is perfect, and no e-liquid is perfect either. Even if you’re “underage,” it still has its flaws.     1. Could the packaging switch to a 60ml unicorn bottle? Taking out a glass dropper bottle on the street, unscrewing it, wiping the bottle mouth a couple of times, and carefully dripping it onto my RDA just feels kind of silly. Really silly, okay?     2. The lingering aroma in the mouth doesn’t last very long, though it’s not completely absent. If you want to savor it again, you can still catch traces of it.     3. The big mixed-fruit blast at the finish is a little chaotic. It would be even better if the flavor expression were a bit clearer.     E-liquid is always subjective—different people have different tastes. So, do you all like this one?
