Why Do Africans Smoke?

 One of my most intimate personal research findings about smokers is that one reason people smoke is simply to be able to function normally biologically, once they step into Los.

  It's so strange, yet so true. Ask any good smoker.
  Others smoke because they are in certain industries, so they must smoke to complete the image. I have a friend who is a DJ, and he smokes not for any other reason than that he is a DJ.
  Others, like upcoming fashion models, dancers, musicians, and TV and movie stars smoke because people think, "all celebrities smoke, so it's cool." You are likely to find this type of high-profile loyalty to only one or two international brands; these days, it's all about the Dunhill switch, right?
  Prostitutes, referred to as night girls and ladies (a more dignified way to call prostitutes), smoke for some reason—to pass the time, because the clients at hand smoke, as the ladies of the night are not necessarily always polishing their projects, the mummy-like image of a girl.
  Some drunks also smoke as a defensive tactic, because they stagger home late at night to fend off potential attackers. The idea here is that someone smoking a cigarette is less likely to be an innocent person or an easy target.
  However, some people smoke simply because the health warnings on cigarette packs are splashed across with a bare and grim human skull as a danger sign.

  Death from smoking can lead to cancer, heart disease, and other health vices such as impotence, infertility, miscarriage, and stroke.
  I don't remember when the health department started getting this long with these disclaimers. A while back, it was common to see a single and precise line on cigarette packs such disclaimers;
  Smoking is harmful to health. Or "Death from smoking."
  And it is precisely these ironic aspects that attract the smoking-loving habit, because when you think about it—it is a very human message, we simply derive some primal kick from doing something that is forbidden or potentially dangerous. It makes us feel masculine and all.
  Some cowardly young men also smoke just because their girlfriends smoke, so they have to follow suit. And to be honest, these are not real men. They are at best the girls' clowns. In the worst case, they are low-budget male dancers.
  Who are the male dancers? They are the ones while the rest of us rush off to our different urgencies every morning looking for food to cook, otherwise, the strong young men of a breed, these lazy ones, instead of going to the gym, usually pump muscles at the makeup class nearby so they can become the gifts that God has given women purely by considering acquiring their massive biceps from the gym.
  You are a disgrace to all real men and to humanity as a whole.
