My Story with Vape
I’m a serious foodie. Grilled brain has to be wrapped in foil, never boiled or steamed; when eating fish, I want the back section just below the head; mille-feuille cake needs the perfect balance of layers, cream, and fruit; and I won’t eat the same thing
I am a super foodie, and I must roast brain matter with aluminum foil; I don't want it boiled or steamed; I want to eat the fish head and the two inches of spine below it; the layers of cake, cream, and fruit must be balanced; I can't eat the same food within three days... Every time I eat, I feel like I have a lot of requirements, but don't worry, there will always be delicious food when you follow me.
I used to smoke, although I tried different brands and flavors, but I always felt the differences were minimal. The first time I learned about e-cigarettes, I was almost amazed by the smell: Wow, this watermelon flavor has a hint of refreshing mint! It smells so delicious, right??? My friend gave me a disdainful glance and said, "Are you naive? Don’t you know there are many flavors of e-liquid?" So I eagerly followed her to her house, where there was a dazzling array of e-cigarette e-liquids! The variety of flavors immediately attracted me, and I secretly decided: I have to dive into this pit!
Now, welcome to my home, where you can try various flavors of e-liquid. For a foodie, vaping also provides a dual enjoyment of taste and smell, it’s simply fantastic!
Evan, installation artist
In our line of work, we are required to have countless new ideas and good ideas.
Sometimes, to revise a proposal for a client, I often have to stay up all night. Naturally, smoking is inevitable; when under pressure, I smoke two packs a day. In college, I only smoked out of boredom or for socializing, never thinking that this thing could be addictive. Now, whenever I need to brainstorm or model, I feel uncomfortable if I don’t smoke. My partners are in a similar state, so the entire studio is often filled with smoke.
I always felt that staying up late was already harmful enough, and smoking was just adding fuel to the fire. The collective decision to quit smoking was due to an important client visiting our studio one day, a female colleague. As soon as she walked in, she was driven out by the smoke, and the entire conversation became very serious... After switching to e-cigarettes, the studio no longer had the choking smell of burning tobacco, and everyone felt much better. Who knows, maybe next time I can combine vaping with my installations.
Sunny, dog lover, traveler
I have a dog named Qing Tang. When she was small, she was super sensitive to smoke. I never thought she was such a health-conscious dog! To make her love me more, I decisively gave up cigarettes and joined the e-cigarette army. Luckily, there’s a nearby e-cigarette franchise store where I can go down and try different e-liquids whenever I want, which is delightful!
I’m still using the device I bought a year ago, but it has accompanied me to many places! Recently, I went to the Alps and blew a smoke ring, watching it merge with the snow and fog; it felt amazing. E-cigarettes allow me to quickly integrate into local communities. "You vape!" No matter where I am, these two words can open up conversations and lead to discussions. Now, whenever I arrive in a new place, I pay attention to whether there are any vapers around; they are my important window into the city.
Carrying the same device to different countries, understanding different cultures, and learning about vapers around the world is my obsession with travel.
