ARTHUR RDA Dripping Atomizer Review

Today we’re introducing the ARTHUR RDA dripping atomizer from Cool Vapor. This is our first time using a product from COOL VAPE, a brand said to bring together experienced users for product design, so the user experience is expected to be more thoughtful

Today we will introduce the ARTHUR RDA Dripping Atomizer from Cool Vapor. This is my first experience with a COOL VAPE product, which is said to be a brand designed by veteran players, promising a more user-friendly experience.

Name: ARTHUR RDA     Brand: Cool Vapor (previously produced "Lava RTA and SUBOHM-TANK")     Overall Material: 304 Stainless Steel     Drip Tip: PEI (imported from Germany)     Overall Dimensions: Diameter 24MM, Height 35.8MM     The packaging is a unique kraft paper box from COOL VAPE, featuring a minimalist style. The accessories include common O-rings, screws, and a screwdriver, along with a U-shaped wrench. No need to keep you in suspense; various reviews mention that this wrench can unscrew the base (the electrode side), allowing for complete disassembly of the airflow structure, making it very convenient and thorough for cleaning leaks and condensation.     In terms of appearance, the device lives up to its name—"Arthur"—with a frosted translucent yellow 810 drip tip below the mouthpiece, a crown-shaped gold edge, a slightly recessed chamber shell, and a gold ring on the airflow ring below. The overall black and gold combination is both elegant and grand.     The craftsmanship of the atomizer, both inside and out, is impeccable. Removing the chamber cover reveals what seems to be nothing special inside, but there is a small trick: a small bump inside the chamber cover works with the notch on the edge of the electrode platform to serve as a limit. Don’t underestimate this limit; it completely solves the problem of the chamber cover slipping or even getting stuck when removing the atomizer, showcasing thoughtful design.     The electrode posts are dual posts with four holes, making it easy to install dual coils, and the inward structure of the coil legs is safer than some atomizers with legs facing outward near the chamber. The internal hex screws are sturdy, and after two weeks of use, there have been no issues. In fact, there’s no need to overly criticize the internal hex; as long as you use the right tool and apply force correctly, the failure rate is not significantly higher than that of other screws. Each heating wire is aligned with two bottom airflow holes, ensuring flavor. The airflow ring has two symmetrical triangles, one of which has a corresponding white dot marking when opened to the maximum position, showing serious design consideration.     The juice well has a moderate depth, holding enough liquid for over ten puffs, which is quite good among large cloud atomizers. However, there is a small downside: once the coils and cotton are in place, they nearly block the entire juice well. Refilling is difficult unless you drip onto the cotton; trying to drip directly into the well is challenging, as you can’t see the juice well’s condition, leading to a few instances of over-dripping into the airflow holes. Additionally, the screw holes often fill with juice, which can be frustrating for perfectionists. Another minor issue is that the chamber cover is too tight; I initially thought it would loosen with use due to condensation or juice providing lubrication, but after some time, I found little improvement. It’s often difficult to remove and replace, and the O-rings are now quite worn out. Even removing the lower O-ring doesn’t help much. ARTHUR RDA Review     The flavor of the Arthur carries the rich essence typical of dual coil bottom-fed RDAs, producing sufficiently dense vapor and performing well with various e-liquid flavors. I won’t elaborate too much on this widely accepted flavor; compared to similar atomizers I have, the Arthur feels very good. By the way, I used dual-core Clapton dual coils at 0.17 ohms, and if using a box mod, I set it to around 80W.     Overall, this Arthur atomizer offers an excellent experience in both appearance and flavor. Wicking and cotton installation are straightforward, and the design features some unique and practical functions. Any minor flaws should be improved in future Cool Vape products. I wish Wei's public account continued success, and that Cool Vape can produce more commendable devices.     Product Features: The PEI drip tip greatly enhances heat insulation, safety, and condensation prevention. The overall waist design of the outer cover makes daily use very convenient. The internal anti-jam limit ensures that you won’t worry about getting the base stuck in the device during use. The large bottom airflow provides very effective cooling, and the organized hollow design makes it difficult for the heat generated by the atomizer to transfer to the device, facilitating easy disassembly of the airflow base for cleaning anytime, anywhere. The internal dome of the atomizer chamber has a perfect angle, allowing for both rich and concentrated flavor.
