This week, the Winnipeg School Board voted to ban the use of e-cigarettes in all schools. Outgoing trustee Anthony Ramos stated that although e-cigarettes are legal, they should not be present in schools. Even adults should not use them on school grounds.

  In Canada, there are no clear laws regulating the use of e-cigarettes. Some teachers even allow students to use battery-powered vaping devices in class.   Additionally, after the municipal elections on October 20, the new board will continue to update regulations regarding e-cigarettes.
