Recently, I received the Aspire Tianxing kit for testing. After using it for a few days, I estimate that not many people have it, so I’ll write a review to share with everyone. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment below, and I’ll try to answer. 1. Packaging is skipped since it’s a test unit, just a bag, haha.
2. Overall Appearance
The main device feels good in hand, with a pebble-like shape. My set has a Rasfu pattern, which leans more towards a business style. Those who prefer a hip-hop and flashy look might not like it. The front features a 1.6-inch black and white touchscreen, with large font display, and the dual battery indicators show the remaining power separately. The black square at the top of the screen is a hidden fire button, with moderate force and a strong rebound. The entire device has no physical buttons. The back cover uses a long and wide magnetic design, fitting tightly with no gaps, and the craftsmanship is quite good. One downside is that the entire body is made of very smooth material, which can be annoying for those with sweaty hands, as it leaves fingerprints and has a sticky feel, but many phones are like this, so I’m already used to it. The accompanying Revvo atomizer is the highlight of this Aspire kit, with a standard appearance. The bottom is a glass chamber, the middle is the atomization chamber, and the top is the airflow ring. The drip tip should be 810, but due to the thin walls of the drip tip, the hole is larger than traditional 810s and does not support drip tip replacement.
3. Main Device Function Parameters
The parameters are directly quoted from the official source: The Tianxing's touchscreen is very responsive, requiring just a light swipe up, down, or right to enter the output mode selection interface, where you can choose your preferred output mode among power/voltage/direct output/temperature control and custom power curves. You can also access other functional interfaces such as modes, data, system, time, and about us through the touchscreen. The “about us” option allows you to see the current firmware version of the device and scan a QR code for more detailed product information on the Aspire website.
Mainly discussing the wattage mode, it has built-in SOFT/Normal/HARD modes for quickly defining your desired flavor. The voltage mode can reach up to 9V, while the BY mode inexplicably shows 4V. The TC mode supports NI, TISS materials, and M1/M2/M3 programming curves. The CPS mode allows you to set the power wattage every 0.5 seconds after firing, which is quite interesting. The operation is very convenient; swiping down twice enters the settings and mode selection options, allowing you to adjust screen brightness and language. Swiping left returns to the previous menu, and swiping up twice on the firing interface enters the output adjustment interface for corresponding wattage or voltage adjustments, so there’s no need to worry about accidental touches. Pressing the fire button five times locks the screen traditionally. The firing speed is quite fast with no delay, and it can support atomizers up to 25MM; anything larger will protrude.
4. Atomizer
ARC (Aspire Radial Coil) is the abbreviation for the heating element in the new Revvo atomizer from Aspire, consisting of oil delivery cotton and a radial heating element. It redefines the atomizer; before ARC, whether single or multiple coils, the atomizers were hollow cylindrical. The introduction of ARC breaks this tradition, not only innovating the shape of the atomizer but also changing its vaporization method. The Revvo atomizer is well-made, with all designs being completely new concepts. The mosquito coil heating wire, funnel-shaped atomization chamber, and top three-hole airflow allow air to mix with vapor in a 360-degree manner, then exit through four small holes in the funnel into the airway. The oil in the atomization chamber can fully return without waste, as the heating wire is isolated from the oil chamber, and the cotton inside the heating wire acts like a sponge, completely isolating the e-liquid, ensuring no leakage into the atomization chamber. A notable feature is the oil filling method, which allows you to directly insert the drip tip into the oil delivery hole to complete refilling. Although previous designs like the Mad Hatter, Bumblebee RDTA, and VGOD atomizers had similar designs, the tightness of the cotton makes it difficult to refill due to high pressure in the oil chamber, causing overflow. However, the Revvo does not have this issue, allowing for smooth refilling, likely due to the absence of negative pressure in the oil chamber. Regarding cotton oil delivery, simply inverting the atomizer for a second or two allows the oil to contact the cotton, making it very convenient.
5. Flavor
After three days of testing, I personally believe that the Revvo atomizer currently offers the best flavor among ready-made atomizers, approaching the flavor of most 24MM single and even dual coil Clapton drip atomizers, especially when adequately filled after inverting. The richness and layering provide a great experience. The atomizer resistance is 0.15 ohms, and it is recommended to output at 85W. The vapor production is not inferior to the Avenger or Lava.
