New to vaping? Avoid these five common mistakes! For beginners, it's inevitable to make some mistakes when using e-cigarettes for the first time, even if you refer to the manual. These mistakes often lead to a reduced quality of the vaping experience and can even affect users' perceptions and views on e-cigarettes.
New to vaping? Avoid these five common mistakes!
Here are the five most common mistakes that new users make when they first get their e-cigarettes, hoping that beginners can smoothly get the hang of using them.

1. Choosing the wrong battery

For products like pod systems with built-in batteries, this is not a concern. Most high-power devices come with a battery warning card in the packaging, as using damaged batteries can pose safety risks. In fact, the most common mistake beginners make is in battery selection; a battery with low discharge capability directly affects the output of the device. Only by choosing a proper power battery can high-power devices perform at their best.

2. Turning on the device without adding e-liquid may burn the coil

Many device kits separate the atomizer from the device not just for packaging purposes but also to prevent user errors. If you connect a device to an atomizer without e-liquid and accidentally press the fire button after turning it on, it may burn the coil. The insulating tape added to the bottom of pod products is also to prevent accidental triggering of the switch, which could damage the coil.

3. Using the atomizer immediately after adding e-liquid may burn the coil

It has been mentioned many times that you should moisten the coil before filling a new atomizer or let it sit for a while after filling before use. Many product packages include such reminder cards. However, it's important to note that different coils require different waiting times, and the atomizer should be placed vertically during this time. It is recommended to let any atomizer sit for at least five minutes.

4. Using the device without adjusting the power after assembling the atomizer

Most atomizers in kits are pre-made and need to be used within a certain power range to achieve excellent flavor and vapor production. Currently, most devices are set to the lowest power at the factory. If you do not adjust the power, the atomizer may produce little to no vapor. Some high-power devices are preset to the highest power, and firing without adjusting the power can burn the coil.

5. Using a low battery device without charging will affect the experience

Most e-cigarette products are not fully charged when they leave the factory; many devices only have a small amount of charge. Using them directly may result in insufficient output voltage, preventing the device from performing as expected. It is recommended that new users charge their devices as soon as they receive them for a better experience.

For new users, it is advisable to fill the atomizer with e-liquid and let it sit while charging the device or battery. Once the battery is fully charged and the coil has adequately absorbed the e-liquid, you can then adjust the appropriate power for use, allowing the e-cigarette to deliver its intended vapor and flavor performance. Users will also better understand the true capabilities of the e-cigarette they have chosen.
