Smoking Rates Are Higher Among Low-Income People in the UK
According to reports from the China Tobacco Science and Education Network, the UK government's statistical department recently conducted a survey and analysis of smoking among adults in the country. The results indicate that among adults in the UK, those with lower economic income have a higher smoking rate.
The detailed statistical analysis shows that among adults, the smoking rate is highest among the unemployed, while those engaged in manual labor and those with lower education levels also have higher smoking rates. Analysts believe that currently in the UK, the smoking rate is directly proportional to the level of poverty among consumers.
Additionally, the statistical department's survey analysis concluded that among unmarried adults, the proportion of smokers is twice that of married adults.
As for e-cigarette products, smokers who frequently consume traditional tobacco products and those who wish to quit smoking have tried these products, but for adults who have never smoked, they rarely attempt to consume e-cigarettes.
