R.J. Reynolds Plans to Expand Distribution of Next-Generation Vuse Products to 25,000 Stores (Photos

R.J. Reynolds Vapor Company, a subsidiary of Reynolds American based in Winston-Salem, is preparing to distribute its Vuse Vibe vaping devices to over 25,000 stores nationwide.

The device is pen-shaped and is sold at retail with a rechargeable battery, pre-filled pod, and USB charger. It can hold more e-liquid than the company's VUSE Solo e-cigarette product and has a more powerful battery.

Company officials say this vaping device is another product in the company's commitment to providing innovative, smoke-free alternatives for adult tobacco consumers.

“VUSE VIBE features a popular vape pen format that is simple and convenient for adult tobacco consumers,” said Brian Stebbins, President of R.J. Reynolds Vapor Company. “VUSE VIBE can hold more e-liquid and has a larger, longer-lasting battery than VUSE SOLO. It also comes with pre-filled vape pods, so it does not compete with some products on the market. This product is the perfect combination of performance and simplicity.”

Vuse Vibe is available in four flavors: Original, Melon, Mint, and Nectar.

“While VUSE SOLO is an iconic product in the vaping device category, the production of Vuse Vibe is a logical upgrade for VUSE,” Stebbins said. “VUSE VIBE encapsulates much of what we learned from adult tobacco and vaping consumers during the rise of VUSE SOLO in retail.
