Recently, SMOK products successfully passed UL 8139 certification after rigorous testing and review. With outstanding product quality, SMOK has set a benchmark for the industry and fulfilled its commitment to consumer safety.

UL is the abbreviation for Underwriters Laboratories Inc. UL is currently one of the most authoritative safety testing and certification organizations in the United States, and one of the most influential in the world.

In May 2017, the American National Standards Institute first published the UL 8139 standard for vaping products. In June 2018, the UL 8139 safety standard for vaping products was recognized by both the American National Standards Institute and the Standards Council of Canada, officially becoming a North American national standard and the only recommended standard for vaping products entering the U.S. market. SMOK vaping products successfully pass UL8139 certification in the vaping industry Lithium batteries are currently the mainstream power source in the vaping industry, and their safety has always been a top concern for consumers. Guided by its product philosophy of being responsible for user safety and striving for excellence in quality, SMOK has comprehensively upgraded its R&D and production standards to meet the strict requirements of UL 8139 certification. The company invested heavily to build a UL 8139 Witness Test Data Program laboratory (WTDP Lab) at its headquarters, covering all required test items. This laboratory is the industry's first high-tech vaping product lab built in accordance with UL 8139 certification standards. All subsequent SMOK products will be tested in this lab, and professional test reports will be submitted to the UL 8139 certification body to obtain UL 8139 approval.

SMOK obtaining UL 8139 certification is an important milestone for both the company and the vaping industry. It marks a solid step forward for the entire industry toward greater regulation and standardization. With SMOK leading the way, more manufacturers are expected to join in, and UL certification will become increasingly widespread. UL certification is a starting point, not the finish line. SMOK will continue increasing investment in product R&D and production management to provide global consumers with safe, high-performance, premium products.
