In addition to some pre-filled pods, there are also many that support refilling. Many people choose pod systems to reduce their cigarette consumption. Choosing the right e-liquid can make this process much more effective. Speaking of DO's Ghost Claw e-liquid, many enthusiasts may have heard of it.
Today, I will introduce four flavors of e-liquids from DO's TALON series.
The TALON e-liquids come in four flavors, as shown in the image above, from left to right: Blueberry Burst (blue), Journey (yellow), Nutty Tobacco (red), and Strawberry Butter (green), all in 10ml packaging.
Except for the red Nutty Tobacco, the other three e-liquids have Chinese label stickers, and the distributor is Shenzhen Kangzhuoer Technology Co., Ltd.
Among them, the green Strawberry Butter and blue Blueberry Burst have a nicotine content of 25mg, the yellow Journey has 35mg, and the red Nutty Tobacco has 50mg.
Previously, the manufacturer asked me about the required nicotine levels for testing, and all these flavors have a 50mg option.
However, I personally believe that the original intention of switching to vaping is to gradually reduce nicotine intake, ultimately aiming to quit smoking.
Too high a nicotine content may not be beneficial to health, which I have expressed before.
Having a strong throat hit is not the ultimate goal; being able to completely replace smoking and eventually quit is the real achievement!
So this time, aside from the Nutty Tobacco, I chose a few flavors with slightly lower nicotine levels (though 25mg is still quite high).
Since these are pod e-liquids, they should be tested with pod systems for the best experience. I won't discuss the aroma; instead, I'll focus on the inhalation experience. The MT pod is a classic, well-regarded for both smoking cessation and flavor, so I'll start with it!
I usually have a habit of being frugal and saving pods, which comes in handy now. I filled two pods: the left one with Journey and the right one with Nutty Tobacco. (The original MT Passion version is one of my favorite flavors.)
First up is the 50mg Nutty Tobacco.
To be honest, it was quite unexpected.
DO's Nutty Tobacco tastes almost identical to MT's Nutty Tobacco!!
MT's Nutty Tobacco has received rave reviews, and many people love that flavor.
DO's version gives me the same impression; it has a rich aroma and the unique taste of tobacco.
From the flavor of the e-liquid, I cannot distinguish between MT and DO; the only difference is the throat hit.
The throat hit of TALON's Nutty Tobacco, also at 50mg, is stronger than that of the MT version.
Even I, a seasoned smoker, found it hard to take too many puffs.
Next is the yellow Journey, 35mg.
Coincidentally, is it because I used MT pods?
I feel that the flavor of TALON Journey is quite similar to that of MT's Passion version, uh...
It's definitely not due to residual e-liquid in the pods; I specifically swapped the two e-liquids in the pods.
When inhaling, I can taste a distinct malt flavor, with a hint of sweetness and a noticeable pastry taste.
Overall, it's sweet and fragrant, with a lingering aftertaste.
As for the difference from MT's Passion version, it still comes down to the throat hit; the 35mg e-liquid has a slightly stronger throat hit than the 50mg Passion version.
Now for the green Strawberry Butter, 25mg.
The first two flavors are tobacco-based, so I chose MT for the experience.
The latter two are fruit-flavored, and I opted for two more vibrant pod systems.
I chose the Strawberry Butter for the Klypse S8.
This time, it doesn't resemble any other e-liquid.
The initial taste is very refreshing; although there's no cooling sensation, it's incredibly fragrant.
Perhaps due to the addition of butter, I can't taste fresh strawberries; it feels more like a strawberry dessert. #p#分页标题#e#
As a dessert-flavored e-liquid, its throat hit is surprisingly strong!
Pod systems have limitations in structure and atomization space, so discussing flavor can be a bit tricky.
But one thing I can confirm is that this Strawberry Butter is my personal favorite among the four e-liquids!!
To sum it up in one word: fragrant!
It's a pleasant aroma, not the taste of artificial flavoring. Highly recommended!
By the way, the S8 provides a great inhalation experience, but the condensation can be quite noticeable, haha!!
You must clean it regularly; otherwise, you can get condensation after just a few puffs.
Finally, the blue one, Blueberry Burst, 25mg.
This is the only cooling e-liquid among the four.
The moment you inhale, there's a very distinct minty coolness, reminiscent of Marlboro's blueberry burst.
The blueberry flavor might be overshadowed by the cooling sensation, not very pronounced, just a hint.
There's also no significant tobacco flavor; the main characteristic is its freshness.
Unlike the other three flavors, this Blueberry Burst has no noticeable throat hit.
Both inhaling and exhaling are very smooth, but I didn't dare to take too many puffs since the throat hit isn't strong, so I kept puffing away.
Compared to the first three, ZQ's vapor volume is larger; this is the only one that got me a bit lightheaded...
To summarize my impressions, all four e-liquids are very effective for smoking cessation!
The flavors are quite satisfying, with the red Nutty Tobacco and yellow Journey tasting surprisingly similar to MT's pods.
Previously, I tried 50mg from MT and also RELX's original tobacco.
RELX has a stronger throat hit than MT, while TALON's first two flavors have a slightly stronger throat hit than RELX.
For those who enjoy flavor and a strong throat hit, I believe RELX is a series not to be missed.
If you're concerned about a too-strong throat hit, consider mixing in some milder e-liquid; if you love a strong throat hit, the first two are perfect for you!
