Today, I will be trying out a new e-liquid launched by Dayouxin, named HIP-HOP DOG. So how hip-hop is this dog? Let's find out.

When I received the e-liquid, I noticed it was packaged in plastic, with the bright red name HIP-HOP DOG and a dog as the cover image. However... it seems to be a bit misleading, as using a dog holding a cigar for e-liquid is not a good idea. Below, it indicates that there are two 15ML bottles of e-liquid, along with the nicotine content and the ratio of PG and VG. Although there is a chili pepper graphic indicating spiciness, it does not specify the level of heat of the product I received. The skull on the dog's head... made me chuckle. Anyway, I have a relatively high tolerance for spice, so bring it on.
The back of the packaging has three sections written in Korean: a warning, the formula, and a note prohibiting use by those under eighteen. The warning content is similar, just in different languages, generally stating that it is prohibited for minors and children, as well as pregnant women. The ingredients are mainly PG, VG, nicotine, and flavoring, which can be roughly understood. For those who insist on claiming they can't understand these, I can only say that if you've been vaping for a while, you shouldn't pretend to be an experienced player or insider; the main items on e-liquids can be guessed quite accurately.
Korean Hip-Hop Dog Spicy Strip E-Liquid   After tearing open the bag, I took out the main product to share— the e-liquid. One thing to note is that the official packaging mentions a lottery for the e-liquid, which is printed on one of the bottles. Interested friends can check it out themselves. After inquiring, I learned that the manufacturer has set up three prizes, as follows:
First Prize: Win a bag     (which means another bottle, don’t think too much about it)
Second Prize: Win a T-shirt   (a cultural shirt)
Third Prize: Win a bag with 50 RMB (spend 50 RMB to get another bag)
The devices used this time are as follows:
Box: iJOY Captain PD1865, Woopoo Alpha One
Rod: Heretic
Set: Absolute Zero X
Atomizer: Cyclone VT, Demon Eye, Mask, Piston, Demon, Wind God, Kennedy, Firebird Phoenix
Heating Wire: NI80 26ga dual wire wrapped 2.5 turns for 9 turns single coil (Firebird Phoenix)
NI80 26ga*2 + 38ga Clapton 3.0 turns for 5 turns dual coil (Demon, Demon Eye, Piston, Cyclone VT, Mask)
NI80 26ga*2 + 36ga Clapton 3.0 turns for 5 turns dual coil (Kennedy, Wind God, Absolute Zero X)
The cotton used this time is still that fast-absorbing, high-capacity, dry-burn resistant, and flavorful bulldog cotton (Bulldog Cotton).
After taking out the bottle, I habitually smelled the cap, and there was almost no scent (unless the oil leaked out). After opening the cap, there was also no noticeable smell, possibly due to the fine drip tip, so no distinct aroma was released, just a faint numbing pepper scent. I dripped a few drops on my palm, and the spicy flavor subtly emerged. With the friction of my palm, this flavor became more pronounced, accompanied by a relatively fresh aroma. When dripped on my tongue, the numbing sensation with a hint of spiciness appeared immediately, but this spiciness was hard to distinguish whether it was real heat or a cooling sensation; I felt it was more likely to be a cooling sensation.
Since the atomizers used this time are generally divided into side airflow, bottom airflow, and top airflow, the Firebird Phoenix was used mainly to discern flavor layers more finely, so I will explain using atomizers with three types of airflow.
For the bottom airflow example, I used the Piston atomizer. Upon inhalation, a slight numbing flavor with some spiciness entered the mouth, gradually revealing the flavor of spicy strips, along with a hint of Korean spicy cabbage flavor, making it feel like eating spicy strips with pickled cabbage. When exhaling, the numbing flavor combined with the pickled cabbage slipped out of the mouth, leaving a numbing sensation on the tongue, while the throat felt a slight spiciness, reminiscent of drinking a cold beverage.
For the top airflow example, I used the Wind God atomizer. Upon inhalation, a clear cooling sensation with a numbing spiciness entered the mouth, with the numbing sensation becoming prominent and the spiciness being mild, while the pickled cabbage flavor was quite noticeable. This feeling was like Korean spicy cabbage with sesame oil added. When exhaling, the smoke of sesame oil and Korean spicy cabbage came out, leaving only the sensation of having eaten mint candy in the mouth.
For the side airflow example, I used the Demon atomizer. Upon inhalation, the numbing pepper flavor directly entered the mouth, and I really couldn't detect any other flavors. In the mouth, the numbing flavor weakened, and the spiciness and pickled cabbage flavor emerged, feeling quite muddled, like putting spicy strips and pickled cabbage into a blender and mixing them, with a ratio of 1:1 and a bit of water added. The exhale felt the same, leaving only a faint numbing sensation in the mouth, with the cooling sensation not in the throat but in the stomach.
Overall, I personally prefer the sensation presented by the bottom airflow atomizer, and through the experience with all the atomizers, it confirmed my previous guess about the cooling agent. As for this e-liquid, if I were to describe the numbing and spicy sensation, I would say it falls into the mild spicy category. I look forward to the medium and extreme spicy versions, but if the cooling agent is intensified, I will pass, as I don't like cooling oils.
I find this e-liquid quite enjoyable, and having this flavor breakthrough saves some people from the trouble of dripping Lao Gan Ma into their atomizers, as there is now a safer e-liquid available. Who would take that risk for no reason, right?
If I were to rate this e-liquid, I would give it a score of 7 out of 10, deducting 2 points for the cooling sensation and 1 point for not labeling the spiciness level.
