BLACK NOTE E-Liquid Review

BLACK NOTE is the Black Note series of e-liquids. This review covers two flavors: Sonata and Forte, the latter being a musical term meaning strong or accented. The names in this series give off a distinctly artistic feel—Black Note, Sonata, Forte—each one

BLACK NOTE, the Black Note series of e-liquids. This review covers two flavors: one is Sonata, and the other is Forte, which means "strong" or "accent" in musical terminology.

The names of this series of e-liquids give a very "artistic" feeling, with the Black Note series, Sonata, and Forte all exuding this artistic vibe.

  1. Appearance Review

The round paper tube packaging feels very thoughtful.

The left side deep blue label indicates that Sonata is the "Sonata," while the right side brown-red label indicates that Forte is the "Accent."

Top of the round paper tube.

Transparent glass bottles with a dropper cap that twists open, sealed with plastic wrap.

These two bottles have a nicotine content of 0mg, with a PG/VG ratio of 50/50, and are 30ml in size. They also have a batch number marked.

The left side Accent is light yellow, indicating it is a "White Burley blend." The right side Sonata is golden yellow, indicating it is a "Cavendish blend."

BLACK NOTE Black Note E-Liquid Review 2. Tracing the Source

No anti-counterfeiting measures, no QR codes or barcodes. This brand is not new; it has been around for three years.

Please allow me to quote a passage that I cannot verify: "New Electronic Liquid Company—Black Note Company has received praise from EcigaretteReviewed for its batch of flavoring that has a true, rich, and refined tobacco flavor. Black Note, claimed to be the world's only natural tobacco e-liquid, contains no artificial flavorings, colorants, or chemical additives, using tobacco cold extraction technology."

As for whether these descriptions and evaluations are reasonable, whether they can achieve anti-counterfeiting from the taste, I will discuss later.

  3. Aroma Review

Upon opening the bottle, both Sonata and Forte have a similar scent: almost no smell, just the scent of air. I put a drop on the back of my hand and sniffed it vigorously; there is a hint of tobacco leaf aroma, with a slightly sweet taste on the tongue, no artificial flavor, and no harshness.

  4. Smoking Review

This review uses two setups: one is the T-more mod with a Freedom atomizer, titanium wire, no Muji cotton, resistance of 0.36Ω, temperature control at 260°C.

The other setup is the VAPORESSO WITCHER mod with a VLS dripping atomizer, quad-core Clapton, no Muji cotton, resistance of 0.17Ω, in power mode at 100W.

First, let’s try the Sonata bottle, the Cavendish blend; I don’t recall having smoked this type of tobacco before.

Upon the first puff, I was amazed! A rich tobacco flavor, but not the harsh kind, unlike the flavor of some flavored cigarettes, nor the roasted tobacco leaf flavor of others; it is much stronger than Holo. As I continued to puff, I became deeply immersed, recalling the real cigarettes I had smoked in the past, and before I knew it, I had taken many puffs. I have been off cigarettes for a long time, and the flavors of various real cigarettes have become a bit blurred, but as I continued to puff, I suddenly remembered: it tastes like the "Tulip" cigarettes I used to smoke in Tianjin; I wonder if they still exist. The flavor from my memory returned! I really miss it!

The vapor is rich, the throat hit is comfortable, with a slight sweetness, not cooling. It’s so enjoyable to vape; none of the tobacco-flavored e-liquids I have tried have this high level of authenticity. I regretted putting too much of that e-liquid on the back of my hand, as I ended up choking on the cotton turning white before I changed the cotton and e-liquid.

BLACK NOTE Black Note E-Liquid Review

Now let’s try the Forte bottle, the White Burley blend.

Online descriptions state: "White Burley is mainly used as a raw material for blended cigarettes, but can also be used for cigars, pipe tobacco, and chewing tobacco. White Burley has good flavor absorption properties, with higher nicotine and total nitrogen content than roasted tobacco, producing a strong throat hit and low sugar content, giving it a strong absorption capability."

The smoking experience feels a bit sweeter, the tobacco flavor is well-represented, and it is more direct, not cooling or greasy, with rich and full vapor, and a comfortable throat hit (0mg).

  5. Carbon Build-Up Review

This is after approximately 10ml+ of usage; I feel there is some carbon build-up, but it is not severe.

#p# Page Title #e# 6. Review Summary

Highlights:

1. Extremely high authenticity of tobacco oil.

2. Very pure flavor.

3. Not cooling or greasy, with rich vapor.

  Summary:

This is an e-liquid with extremely high authenticity of tobacco flavor, a real tobacco taste without any artificial flavor, rich and full vapor, not cooling or greasy, and very pure flavor. It is the best tobacco e-liquid I have ever vaped!

In my current judgment system for whether e-liquids are enjoyable, for someone who doesn't particularly love tobacco e-liquids, I rank this one at the top of my list. If there were anti-counterfeiting measures, it would be a perfect e-liquid. Please understand that I do not hesitate to praise it; friends who have followed me should know that I speak the truth. I dare to speak about fake oils and tricky oils, and I can say when something is not enjoyable, which might give some manufacturers and website owners a headache, but I truly believe this oil is just too enjoyable.
