Recently, with the launch of refillable pod systems, high-concentration nicotine salt e-liquids have begun to carve out their own niche. Today, I bring you a product from Aipusen's DR.SALT series, specifically designed for pod systems. Currently, this series has launched seven flavors, and I will be experiencing the banana pie and mojito flavors using the SUORIN company's small drop pod system.
The e-liquid comes in a 30ML pencil bottle, with the product series logo on the front, indicating the nicotine content and flavor at the bottom. The back has a plastic seal with a proper Chinese product label, providing detailed annotations.
Tearing off the plastic seal reveals a national 315 product anti-counterfeiting QR code for verification, and the back lists the ingredients, showing a VG and PG ratio of 50:50, with a nicotine content of 30MG.First, I tried the BANANA PIE flavor. The bottle design shows a mix of banana and cream flavors. Upon inhalation, there is a subtle banana taste, and exhaling brings out the cream flavor in the nasal cavity, making it enjoyable for extended use. The 30MG nicotine salt concentration provides a perfect throat hit; as long as you don’t take a hard puff, it won’t irritate your throat, giving a slight blockage feeling that gradually spreads to the lungs. The satisfaction level is decent, allowing for continuous puffs without feeling lightheaded, suitable for moderate nicotine users, with a soft mouthfeel to savor.
Next, I tried the MOJITO flavor, which is a famous cocktail flavor. The ingredients include alcohol and soda. Upon inhalation, a very strong mint flavor hits, refreshing the senses, and the entire nasal cavity feels cool. Then, a heavy lime flavor mixed with rum comes through, providing a refreshing sensation in the hot summer. Overall, the strong cooling sensation somewhat masks the throat hit, and there is no stuffy feeling in the lungs, making it appealing to those who enjoy mint-flavored cigarettes.I initially thought about using a vaporizer to experience the flavor of the nicotine salt e-liquid further, but due to time constraints, I didn’t try it. On the other hand, the drop pod system has already restored the flavor of the e-liquid well, so since it’s designed for pod systems, I didn’t explore other options. Personally, I really enjoy the refreshing taste of mojito on hot days, which is great for relieving cravings while being invigorating.
