Fourth-Generation IQOS 3: New Features of the Latest Release
I have been using IQOS electronic cigarettes for over two years, and I have witnessed the development of this brand to where it is today. The fourth-generation IQOS 3 is their new product released this year, retaining the basic features of the IQOS series of electronic cigarettes: "no ash, less secondhand smoke, less harm" while making some improvements and upgrades based on previous generations.
1. Changes in material and shape — the device and heater.
This change in appearance is the most noticeable among the many changes in the fourth-generation IQOS 3. I bought it through a purchasing agent, and the first thing I saw when I opened the package was the device and heater. The previous material was cool and smooth, but this version has a more matte texture, which feels comfortable in hand and is pleasant to touch. Additionally, the heater has a new opening design; when you open the device, a small area pops out on the right side to hold the device for heating. I tried it, and the direct effects of this side opening are twofold: it secures the device more firmly, making it less likely to fall off during heating; and it conveniently covers the malfunctioning red light, which is quite reassuring.
Besides these two practical conveniences, the use of matte material and the side opening design also enhance the product's high-end appearance, giving it a strong technological feel, making it presentable whether for personal use or as a gift.
2. Upgrades in capacity and battery life — longer usage on a single charge.
With each upgrade, IQOS has significantly improved battery capacity, and this time it continues that tradition, doubling the capacity compared to the one I am currently using. After charging the power bank fully, it can heat enough devices for me to use for a day or two, which is quite convenient. However, everyone should not overindulge just because more devices can be heated; although the IQOS series of electronic cigarettes are less harmful, they are still tobacco products, so moderation is advisable.
Another related point is that the heating time for the device has been shortened. I noticed this the first time I used it, as the waiting time was noticeably reduced. Although I didn’t do a specific comparison, the official data states that it has been shortened by 40 seconds compared to the previous generation, which seems accurate.
In addition to these two major aspects, many details have also been improved, such as the cleaning ball, which is more convenient to clean than the previous generation. For someone like me who is quite lazy, this is very handy. Overall, I am satisfied with this update, which has brought me many surprises, and I recommend it to everyone; if you're interested, you can check it out.
