Refilling MT Vape Cartridges
Mini vaping devices are very popular, and after comparing many options I chose MT for its better battery life. At first I bought it just for fun, but after using it I found it surprisingly satisfying and easy to carry. The only downside is that the cartri
With the popularity of small vaping devices, I finally chose the MT for its strong battery life. Initially, it was just for fun, but once I got it, I couldn't put it down. It's really effective for cravings and easy to carry around. However, the pods run out too quickly; I have a strong craving, and one pod barely lasts a day. The solution was to buy another device, but the used pods are disposable, so I have to throw them away. Everything else is fine, just out of juice. Although each pod costs about the same as a pack of cigarettes, it still feels like a waste. After doing some research online and ruining four or five pods, I finally found the trick to successfully refill the MT vape pods.
Empty pods Tools needed, preferably small pliers Step 1: Use a sharp, sturdy tool like a punch to pry open the two interfaces at the bottom of the pod.
Step 2: Carefully peel off the outer layer; be cautious not to pull off the electrode base, or it will be ruined.
Step 3: This is a crucial step! You need to remove the electrode base and the heating core from the pod. It can be difficult to take out because the manufacturer wants you to keep buying new pods for profit. When you pull down, it can be hard to grip, and there might be adhesive. If you're not careful, you could pull the electrode base off, which means all your efforts are wasted. As long as the electrode base is detached from the heating core, the two fine wires connecting the heating core will no longer connect to the electrode base, rendering the pod useless. I tried adjusting many times without success and ruined several pods. The trick to successfully pulling it out is to first clamp the sides of the pod with small pliers, applying moderate pressure to loosen the heating core from the shell. Sometimes the heating core will pop out easily, which is convenient. If it doesn't come out, use a small punch to carefully pry it out, being careful not to separate the heating core from the base.
This is what it looks like when pulled out; the transparent part is the electrode base, and the milky white part is the heating core base. The small cylindrical part is the core of the MT pod, which is also its selling point—the ceramic core. This core is very fragile; it can be crushed between two fingers, so when squeezing the heating core with pliers, you should grip the side of the pod. If you grip the front, you might crush the core.
Step 4: Use fine-tipped tweezers to remove the two layers of oil-proof pads. The hardest part is step three; everything after that is so easy.
This is what it looks like after disassembly.
Step 5: Insert the oil refill tube forcefully... as for the oil, it depends on your taste and skill. The oil for MT pods is high in nicotine salts, which helps with cravings. The nicotine e-liquids we usually use have a maximum of 12mg, and adding them to the pod may not satisfy cravings as well as the original oil. Plus, this small core doesn't do much for flavor reproduction. Why do I say it depends on your skill? It's about sourcing and mixing your own, haha.
Final step: Reassemble everything step by step. Replace the two oil-proof pads, being careful not to overfill the pod; don't exceed the height of the pads, or it will leak.
Seal it tightly and wipe it clean.
Put the outer layer back on and use a flat screwdriver to flatten the interface.
OK~ All done!
