Highlights from the BUILD MASTER 3rd Precision Coil Building Competition Hosted by IECIE
Today marks the third day of the "BUILD MASTER 3rd Precision Coil Building Competition" hosted by the Great Vapor Family & IECIE Electronic Cigarette Expo. Since today is a regular workday on Monday, our staff confirmed the scores of the participants last night one by one. After repeated confirmations, the eight coil masters arrived at the competition venue at 10:30 AM, and the showdown among the experts began immediately.
After our host announced the competition rules, the contest officially started. As this is the finals, our knockout format was adjusted to a dual coil 0.45Ω wire production, with a time limit of 10 minutes to complete. The contestants simultaneously produced dual coil wires, and the one closer to the target resistance value would win. (The resistance measurement method and judging criteria are the same as in the preliminary rounds.) Additionally, stickers were used to cover the LED display screens on each pilot's wire burning station, significantly increasing the challenge of the competition.
Once the timer started, the eight finalists showcased their skills. To straighten the heating wire, some used pliers in one hand, while others brought their own electric drills to the competition, truly an eye-opener. The competition among the experts is always thrilling to watch. As time ticked away, contestants continuously raised their hands to signal, and the judges measured each contestant's heating wire resistance. After the 10-minute countdown, the results of the knockout round were announced.
If the knockout round wasn't exciting enough, the semi-finals were even more interesting. In this round, the host announced a new heating wire resistance of dual coils at 0.25Ω, still with a 10-minute countdown, and the contestant closer to the target resistance would win. A dramatic moment occurred at the end of this round when the resistance measurement showed that two contestants had exactly the same resistance value. As we often say, any similarities are purely coincidental; in our coil competition, if there are similarities, it truly reflects equal skill, and the showdown among experts is just incredible.
After the semi-finals, the much-anticipated championship battle began. Since this was the championship, the rules were adjusted accordingly. In this round, contestants needed to use the heating wire made in the semi-finals, pack it with cotton, and use the same VGOD device to compete for the size of the smoke fan, with the one producing the most smoke declared the champion. One contestant even accidentally injured himself while cutting cotton, but after a simple treatment on-site, he began the showdown. Through photos with a black background, the positions of the champions were quickly determined. With the same resistance data, Li Wenjun's smoke output surpassed Han Yuheng's, and the results of this competition were announced.
The "BUILD MASTER 3rd Precision Coil Building Competition" concluded successfully with the support of all players. We believe that in the next competition, we will welcome many more coil masters.
