I am still a beginner in vaping, so this article may have some omissions. Please feel free to correct me, and if you criticize, please be gentle.

【Reason for Purchase】 I have always felt that electronic cigarettes are not as convenient as traditional cigarettes. Although smoking is satisfying, it is harmful to health!

To avoid harm while satisfying my cravings, I can only rely on electronic cigarettes. There are relatively few well-known brands of electronic cigarettes on the market, with many types, parameters, and different usage methods, which caused confusion when I first decided to purchase. I previously bought a Sickle electronic cigarette that mimicked the appearance of a traditional cigarette, but it could not completely replace smoking; it was just good for occasional cravings. Last year, I heard that IQOS was good, and my curiosity led me to research a lot of information. However, considering the expensive consumables, I hesitated for a long time. To enjoy a healthier smoke, I was about to make a purchase when I heard that Sickle was about to release a high vapor + 80W power electronic cigarette. As a loyal customer, what else could I say? Of course, I waited. In the meantime, I forgot about it.

Time flew by, and in February 2018, I saw a promotion on ZDM, which reminded me of my dream of buying an electronic cigarette. When I checked the price, it was less than 200 yuan, almost 1/5 the price of IQOS. Although the positioning is different, Sickle is for both smoking and quitting, while IQOS is purely for quitting. In terms of quitting, Sickle may not be as effective as IQOS, but considering the strong playability of Sickle's 80W power and large vapor, it was not an issue for my tight budget. I decided to forgo my bicycle.

On the 18th at 10 AM, the promotional price was 189 yuan, but by 4 PM, the price had changed to 219 yuan. Was I too slow? Fortunately, the promotional package was still available, so I decided to buy some e-liquid as well, knowing I would eventually need it. I was aware it was a marketing tactic, but I fell for it anyway, so I added an atomizer core, bringing the total value to 278 yuan, and after the package discount, I paid 237 yuan.

After receiving the product, I intended to share my experience immediately, but after taking pictures of the appearance, I got caught up in testing a graphics card I won in a giveaway, so I put the electronic cigarette aside. Once someone starts procrastinating, it tends to snowball.

【Appearance Display】 The packaging is solid, with a cool design that I really like.

The electronic cigarette comes with two stickers, both of which I really like.

The electronic cigarette is quite compact, making the e-liquid look a bit oversized.

I previously used a Sickle electronic cigarette that mimicked a traditional cigarette, and I wanted to take a comparison photo, but I couldn't find it after not using it for so long.

Speaking of the appearance of traditional cigarette-like devices, I think they are like their boxy and straight-bar counterparts, all using the same principle of adding e-liquid. Nowadays, high-power electronic cigarettes are mostly derived from this principle, with larger oil storage and higher power, leading to longer battery life and greater vapor production.

This has led to various fun ways to play with it, and as I got into it, I found myself smoking traditional cigarettes less frequently.

The consumables for electronic cigarettes are only e-liquid and atomizer cores, but it seems that different brands and models of electronic cigarette atomizer cores are not interchangeable. This means you can only buy the original ones to match, which has its pros and cons. The downside is that the lack of interchangeability limits user choices, but the upside is that it somewhat prevents the emergence of counterfeit accessories. As for whether this is good or bad, it depends on personal perspective.

The official customer service from Sickle states that the normal lifespan of this atomizer core is about three months, with a price of 100 yuan for four original cores, averaging 25 yuan each, which is quite cheap compared to others.

This device uses a 510 universal interface, which is a very mainstream design. The universal feature of the 510 interface allows it to connect with 99% of atomizers on the market, providing more options for upgrades later on. I borrowed a friend's atomizer to try out different styles.

At the bottom of the device, there is a Micro USB port mainly for charging; I haven't tried connecting it to a computer for firmware upgrades yet, so I'm not sure if that works.

Additionally, the display screen on the Sickle S60 is quite eye-catching. The LCD material displays parameters sharply even in bright light, making it great for outdoor use.

【User Experience】 In terms of workmanship, I think it's quite good. I didn't notice any flaws, but if I had to nitpick, the silver screws don't quite match the black body I purchased. The controls are relatively simple; following the demonstration video provided by the seller, I was able to understand it without needing to read the manual.

【Device Operation】 The large button on top is the fire button, and the two buttons below are for adjusting power.

There aren't many buttons; to turn it on, quickly press the button five times. There are voltage and power modes to choose from. In the powered state, quickly pressing the button three times switches modes. Personally, I prefer using the power mode, as it has more levels and is more precise. You can adjust it using the plus and minus buttons. Overall, the settings are very user-friendly. (A friendly reminder: do not screw on the atomizer without adding e-liquid to avoid burning the atomizer core.)

Thanks again to the seller for providing the operation video, which was very detailed and saved me a lot of trouble.

【Atomizer Operation】

It's worth mentioning that the atomizer uses a top airflow structure, which avoids the oil leakage issues that traditional bottom airflow designs can have. It's very convenient for long-term use or when carrying it around.

The airflow holes are infinitely adjustable; the size can be rotated freely. Reducing the airflow directly increases the resistance when inhaling, while decreasing the airflow results in denser and more concentrated vapor. Since I tend to take larger puffs, I habitually keep it at maximum, as I believe it helps with heat dissipation.

By unscrewing the top black mouthpiece cover, you can see the two e-liquid filling holes on either side, with the center being the vapor outlet. Be careful not to fill e-liquid into the center. The silicone rings in this atomizer are densely distributed, indicating good sealing.

【Vapor Production】

As this is my first time using such a high-powered electronic cigarette, I'm not quite used to the lung inhale method. I did a simple test at 30W, 50W, and 80W to see the differences in vapor production.

Indeed, at 80W, taking a big puff produces so much vapor that I can't see anything, which is a bit scary. I worry my wife might suddenly come in and smack me on the back of the head (please ignore my pajamas).

Since I had some questions about making vapor rings, I consulted the store owner and even had a video call with him on WeChat. The experienced user shared many tips and insights, which I found very helpful. Thanks again!

【Conclusion】

For less than 200 yuan, this electronic cigarette offers dual modes of voltage and power, supports resistance recognition, and has a 510 universal atomizer interface. I think it's a great deal for entry-level users. Although it has some drawbacks, such as slightly lower power and a slower ignition response during cold starts, it is completely sufficient for transitioning from quitting smoking to professional vapor tricks. You can't expect perfection; otherwise, why would other electronic cigarettes still be sold? You should know that other brands with similar or lower configurations typically cost over 360 yuan for 80W power.

In terms of performance, the Sickle S60 accurately restores the flavor of e-liquids and provides stable output. Its positioning is for both quitting and enjoying vaping, effectively satisfying cravings. If you're using a dripping atomizer with a higher resistance, it can also produce large vapor, but don't expect absolute zero delay in ignition. If you need higher power and don't mind a larger size, you might consider the Gemei-2, which operates similarly to the S60 but reaches 200W (I suspect I will eventually succumb to the fate of getting a Gemei-2).

Recently, I haven't had the opportunity to practice making vapor rings (mainly due to my severe laziness), so I didn't dare to label this as a "review" but rather as a "first experience." I hope to practice my vapor rings and find a windless spot in the underground parking lot to showcase my skills properly, and then share my insights with everyone.
