Japan Tobacco International applies for a “smoke-generating device” patent
Editor's note: It is reported that Japan Tobacco International has recently applied for a patent for a “smoke-generating device.” This smoke-generating device includes two containers, a power supply, at least one heater assembly, a control unit, and more.
Heated Tobacco News reports that the patent “A Smoke-Generating Device” (application number: CN201320030816.X), filed by Japan Tobacco International, describes a smoke-generating device that includes: ① two containers, each containing a mixture capable of independently generating smoke; ② a device for drawing the mixtures from the containers to generate smoke for user inhalation; ③ a device for mixing the mixtures after they are drawn from the containers, with the mixing device allowing the user to select the relative proportion of two compounds in the smoke; ④ a power supply; ⑤ at least one heater assembly; ⑥ a device for selectively supplying energy from the power supply to the heater assembly; and ⑦ a control unit embedded in the elongated body and used to selectively control the heater assembly and heat the liquids from the two containers. When both power and the selected liquids are supplied to the heater assembly at the same time, smoke is generated for the user to inhale.
