Why was vaping banned? Smoking and quitting smoking are two topics that smokers can never avoid. Some people discuss which brand of cigarettes is better or more expensive, while others constantly talk about how to quit smoking. Tobacco is a very important industry for any country because it is highly profitable and represents a big cake. Since it is a big cake, it must be guarded and protected, preventing anyone from taking a piece.

Currently, there is a "great enemy" of traditional tobacco—e-cigarettes.

E-cigarettes were originally invented by Chinese physician Han Li, who was also a smoker. After his father died of lung cancer, he made the decision to quit smoking and sought effective methods to do so. Ultimately, he found a solution, leading to the birth of e-cigarettes.

Today, there are many types of e-cigarettes on the market, and a simple search on online platforms reveals a wide variety. However, as e-cigarettes have become increasingly popular, they have faced more and more attacks in the market. Various official media often criticize e-cigarettes, claiming they are harmful, toxic, and even more dangerous than traditional cigarettes. Such statements are everywhere, and some self-media outlets exacerbate the situation, clearly aiming to say: e-cigarettes are harmful; better go back to smoking real cigarettes!
Why was vaping banned?
It is puzzling that e-cigarettes have a market globally, and developed countries like the United States, Japan, and the United Kingdom have long proven that the harm of e-cigarettes is far less than that of traditional cigarettes. While they are not completely harmless, at least they are not more harmful than traditional cigarettes. The principle of choosing the lesser of two evils is well known. The UK and the US promote e-cigarettes in hopes of replacing traditional cigarettes, reducing smoking rates, and improving health levels. Yet, our market environment is suppressing e-cigarettes and promoting traditional cigarettes, which is completely counterproductive.

It is undeniable that the domestic e-cigarette market currently lacks regulation. While it is possible that some e-cigarettes that do not meet health standards have entered the market, it is unfair to condemn the entire industry. E-cigarettes represent an industry that includes all brands and companies. You can say that a particular brand of e-cigarette is unsafe and should not be purchased, but it is not right to label all brands with the same brush. This is very unfair to those companies that are doing their best to produce quality e-cigarettes.

I have used many e-cigarettes, including brands like Huo Qi Xiao La Tiao, Huo Qi GS5.0, IQOS, JUUL, and Xiao La Tiao, among others. For instance, I am currently using a Xiao La Tiao e-cigarette while writing this, and I can clearly feel that e-cigarettes are very convenient to use. I haven't touched traditional cigarettes in a long time because I can no longer adapt to the taste of those cigarettes, which are also much more harmful. Although the e-cigarette industry is currently quite chaotic, it does not mean that there are no companies genuinely dedicated to their craft. For example, the Xiao La Tiao e-cigarette I am using is from a company that takes e-cigarettes seriously and has pioneered a shared e-cigarette model.
