On September 6, the Indiana health department announced that a resident died from severe lung damage caused by vaping. It is reported that the patient was over 18 years old, and no other related information has been disclosed; Indiana has also confirmed 8 cases of severe lung damage related to vaping and is investigating more than 20 suspected cases.
