Does the RELX e-cigarette exceed formaldehyde limits? It is well known that e-cigarettes produce formaldehyde, and since formaldehyde is carcinogenic, some friends worry that the formaldehyde produced by e-cigarettes could be harmful. So, do the e-cigarettes currently on the market exceed formaldehyde limits? Let's take a look with the Heat-Not-Burn Information Network.

Does the RELX e-cigarette exceed formaldehyde limits?<\/strong>

The RELX e-cigarette does produce formaldehyde, but the temperature at which it is heated has a significant impact on the amount produced.

For example, the amount of formaldehyde produced by vaporizing 6-7 pods of RELX is approximately 0.08mg-0.09mg. What does this mean? It is roughly equivalent to the allowable limit of formaldehyde in indoor air standards, which is about 0.1mg per cubic meter per hour. The heating temperature of the RELX atomizer is controlled below 280 degrees Celsius, resulting in very low formaldehyde production. However, when the temperature exceeds 318 degrees Celsius, the amount of formaldehyde can increase by 6-8 times (in some low-quality atomizer products). For normally functioning devices, the formaldehyde produced is negligible.

According to China's CB\/T 18883-2002 "Indoor Air Quality Standards", the limit for formaldehyde in indoor air for Class II civil construction projects is 0.10mg per cubic meter per hour, while for Class I civil construction projects, it is 0.08mg per cubic meter per hour. Class I civil construction projects include: residential buildings, hospitals, school classrooms, elderly buildings, and kindergartens.

The amount of formaldehyde produced by e-cigarettes at temperatures below 300 degrees is, according to experimental results, when vaporizing 10-15ml of e-liquid within an hour, the formaldehyde content is 0.08mg-0.09mg, which is within the "Indoor Air Quality Standards".

So, does the RELX e-cigarette exceed formaldehyde limits? In summary, the formaldehyde produced by a normal RELX e-cigarette is within the acceptable range and does not exceed limits. However, if you find that your RELX e-cigarette is operating at an abnormal or high temperature, you should be cautious, as it may produce more formaldehyde.
