Has the era of smart e-cigarettes arrived? With the emergence of e-cigarettes, people are increasingly dissatisfied with the needs met by traditional cigarettes. As the e-cigarette market heats up, product homogenization has become more severe. Only by keeping up with the times and continuously innovating can there be a chance for competition. Recently, various e-cigarette brands have launched smart e-cigarette products, so let's explore just how smart these e-cigarettes can be!
Juul
According to the Financial Times, Juul Labs recently launched a product called Juul C1, which pairs with an Android-only app via Bluetooth. Users can monitor how much they have smoked through this app. Additionally, it features a connectivity function that allows you to locate your vape if you accidentally lose it, along with a device lock to prevent anyone other than the owner from using it. The C1 can only be used after age verification and facial recognition checks to prevent minors from purchasing it.
MOTI
MOTI launched the internal testing of its new generation smart e-cigarette on July 25, claiming that the MOTI S acts like a smart e-cigarette steward, accompanying and recording every use by the user. It comes with a dedicated app, iMOTI, which not only records users' smoking data but also allows for one-click retrieval of lost devices. To prevent minors from using e-cigarettes, iMOTI requires real-name verification for login, and those under eighteen cannot pass the verification.
RELX
On August 14, RELX launched a smart vaping device called RELX Infinity and released an app called RELX ME in app stores to track various usage data in real-time. Additionally, this app allows for social activities, helping users find like-minded new friends. Users can also lock the RELX Infinity through the app, cutting off the power function to prevent minors from using it.
