Can you get a confiscated e-cigarette back after airport security?

When traveling, taking planes or trains is often unavoidable, but security checks can be a real headache. If something fails inspection and gets confiscated, it is hard not to feel the loss. So if a vaping device is confiscated at security, can you get it
When traveling, whether by plane or train, security checks can be quite troublesome. Items that fail to pass security are confiscated, and you can't help but feel distressed. So, can you get back an e-cigarette that was confiscated at airport security?
 
Can you get back an e-cigarette that was confiscated at airport security? The answer is no, but if you request temporary storage at the time, you can retrieve it within 30 days after being issued a temporary storage receipt.

1. For violations of Article 33 of the Civil Aviation Security Regulations of the People's Republic of China, travelers carrying items listed in the "Prohibited Items for Passengers to Carry or Check" (see Attachment 2) should be informed that they can be checked as luggage or handed over to accompanying personnel; if there is not enough time to check them, the security department will handle the procedures according to regulations and hand them over to the crew to be returned at the destination. If this cannot be done, the security department will keep them. The security department should register and properly store them; items unclaimed for more than thirty days will be promptly handed over to the civil aviation public security authority for processing.

2. Items containing flammable substances are subject to quantity restrictions (see Attachment 3). Excess portions can be returned to the traveler for self-handling or temporarily stored with the security department. The security department should issue a receipt for items temporarily stored by travelers and register them. Travelers can retrieve them within thirty days with the receipt; if not claimed within the time limit, they will be treated as unclaimed items and handed over to the civil aviation public security authority monthly.

Can you get back an e-cigarette that was confiscated at airport security? It is understood that confiscated e-cigarettes cannot be retrieved, but they can be temporarily stored, and the temporarily stored e-cigarettes can be retrieved within 30 days.
