First China International E-Cigarette Expo Held in Shenzhen

　　[Shenzhen Business Daily] (Reporter Liu Lianglong) Yesterday, CECMOL2015, the first China International E-Cigarette (Electronic Vaporizer) Expo, was held in Hall 6 of the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center and will run until April 11.

　　The first China International E-Cigarette Expo was one of the events of the third China Information Technology Expo, jointly hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government, and organized by E-cigarette Online.

　　More than 200 e-cigarette manufacturers from around the world took part in the expo, which aimed to build a professional trading platform for e-cigarette manufacturers, brands, distributors, retailers, and import/export traders, promote healthy development of the domestic e-cigarette market, and support the development of the entire e-cigarette industry.

　　E-cigarettes, also known as electronic cigarettes, are mainly used for smoking cessation and as an alternative to cigarettes. They have the same appearance as cigarettes, a similar taste, and even more flavor options than ordinary cigarettes. They can also produce vapor, flavor, and sensation much like cigarettes. E-cigarettes do not contain tar, suspended particles, or other harmful components found in cigarettes. At present, 90% of the world's e-cigarettes are produced in Shenzhen, which has become the world's largest e-cigarette manufacturing base.
