13 Rising Vape Brand CEOs Take the Spotlight

Laan, RELX, LINX, YOOZ, FLOW, Vvild, WEL, Bink, EUSN, JOKOO, EVOVE, WONTON, and vitavp are currently prominent new brands in the domestic e-cigarette industry. Their founders and CEOs range from those born in the 70s to the 90s, all of whom are not only experienced but also exceptionally capable.

1. Laan's founder and CEO, Zhu Yaxuan. Graduated from the Industrial Design Department of Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in the UK, and was the first industrial designer for WeChat.
 
2. RELX's founder and CEO, Wang Ying. After earning an MBA from Columbia University and gaining experience at leading FMCG companies like Procter & Gamble and Bain & Company, he has a deep understanding of the objective laws of business development. He previously led Uber's Central China operations and, after the merger with Didi, served as the General Manager of Didi Uber's business unit, continuing to lead the team in the ride-hailing industry, developing Didi's premium service from scratch to become the second-largest daily order business in the group.

7. WEL's founder and CEO, Qiu Yiwu. Master's degree in Industrial Design from Zhejiang University, founder of Yunzao. Winner of multiple Red Dot and IF Design Awards. Born in 1989, he is an internet native who has participated in various industrialization projects at multiple universities and served as a design consultant for several well-known companies. He possesses unique insights and excels in integrating innovation across technology, design, and business, authoring "Business Innovation Design," which is used as a guiding textbook in several institutions.
 
8. Bink's founder and CEO, Zhong Yunzhao-Zen. Graduated from a Swiss business school and previously served as the Managing Director of Hong Kong China Tobacco Group Limited, successfully operating seven cigarette brands overseas.
 
9. EUSN's founder and CEO, Gong Zijia. With seven years of experience in the e-cigarette industry, he has a deep understanding of the sector and has led his team to develop electronic vapor products favored by foreign brands. Worked at Apple for nearly ten years, serving as the Director of Apple China South and the Operations Director of Apple's Greater China Enterprise Division, driving sales in the southern region from tens of millions to hundreds of billions; joined Lexin in 2015 as COO, leading Lexin to become the second-largest seller of smart wearables in China within six months (first being Xiaomi, third being Apple), and the fifth-largest globally within a year, successfully IPOing on the Growth Enterprise Market in November 2016.
 
13. vitavp's founder, Liu Dongyuan. A serial entrepreneur who entered the e-cigarette industry in 2012, he has led the establishment of several global e-cigarette brands in China and successfully created two high-end vapor brands.
