Huoqi Vape Launches ammo-Color Upgrade: Metal Body, 420mAh, RMB 49

On May 12, Huoqi Vape officially launched the ammo-Color upgraded version of its colorful new product kit, which includes 1 device and 1 pod. The original retail price was set at 99 RMB, but the price during the first month of launch is 49 RMB. It is understood that the newly released device is a fully upgraded product, and the pods in the kit adopt a blind box approach, combining the most popular flavors from the first generation of ammo in a random manner.
 
Huoqi Vape stated that the new product was developed over more than five months, based on market trends and consumer preferences for electronic atomizers, resulting in upgrades in material, appearance color, and manufacturing process.

In our view, Huoqi's orientation in this new product series is clear—achieving a better balance between "good enough" and "easily acceptable" to help store owners acquire seed users, ignite word-of-mouth among key opinion consumers (KOCs), and ultimately break into the general smoking population.
 
Specifically, the ammo-Color upgraded version uses aviation aluminum material commonly found in mainstream priced products, which offers higher body strength compared to plastic materials while keeping the weight around 35g, ensuring it is lightweight and portable.

In terms of craftsmanship, the ammo-Color upgraded version adopts anodizing and vacuum plating processes for the first time, differing from Huoqi's previous consistent use of integrated stamping processes. The body is polished using a polishing process above 200 mesh, enhancing both texture and aesthetics.

In terms of color options, the ammo-Color upgraded version offers 10 new colors: titanium black, space silver, spruce green, fluorescent green, Chinese red, cherry blossom pink, mocha brown, rose gold, coral blue, and hibiscus purple, catering to the preferences of different consumer segments.
 
Huoqi stated that consumer surveys show that the most prominent pain point for users when using entry-level e-cigarette products is "insufficient battery capacity, requiring charging twice a day can be somewhat inconvenient," and the ammo-color upgraded version specifically adopts a 420mAh battery. Compared to similar products on the market, its battery capacity is 22.7% higher on average, and it features a reversible Type-C interface for convenience in daily use.

It is worth mentioning that the ammo-color colorful kit has enhanced safety features, incorporating functions such as "anti-backflow protection, low battery warning protection, and short circuit warning protection" based on data accumulated from various situations encountered during daily use.
 
The Huoqi ammo-Color upgraded colorful kit will be showcased at the Shanghai IECIE exhibition from May 18 to 20, where Huoqi will also distribute 50,000 new product kits for free on-site (Booth G46, N3 Hall, Shanghai New International Expo Center).
