The packaging of the YOOZ Mini is very compact, easily held in one hand, and the packaging information is minimal but covers the core product details, similar in size to the Juul packaging.
The back of the outer packaging includes information such as the brand, production date, and manufacturer. This device is produced by Yunchuang High-Tech, a new electronic cigarette manufacturer reported by Blue Hole last year.
After removing the packaging, the contents are simpler: main device x1, USB x1, and nothing else—no manual, no pod. The absence of a manual seems inconsequential; after all, who needs a manual for a lighter...?
Later, I asked YOOZ, and they said this is a beta version; the official version will include a manual.
The YOOZ Mini shell is made of ABS material to reduce costs, instead of the aluminum alloy used in traditional 299 yuan pod products. In terms of material and workmanship, it is justified for the price of 9.9 yuan.
In terms of weight, the device weighs only 13g, similar to a lighter, and is slightly shorter in length, which may affect the grip for those with larger hands.
The charging port is located at the bottom of the device.
To fully experience and showcase it, we now need to purchase a pod separately for use; the Mini device is compatible with YOOZ pod cartridges, retailing at 35 yuan each.
The tested pod flavor is Ice Grape Wine, produced by MCV under the FEELM ceramic atomization core family. The nicotine content is 3%.
The pod capacity is 2ML, which is considered medium to high capacity in the market.
