Beijing Tongzhou Launches Special Inspection of the Vaping Market

In accordance with the notice issued by the district bureau, the Beiyuan Market Supervision Office in Tongzhou District has actively carried out a special inspection of the vaping market. On May 21, the Beiyuan Market Supervision Office, together with the Tobacco Bureau, inspected vaping business operators in the Wanda commercial area, urging them not to sell vaping products to minors, not to establish vaping sales websites or apps, not to set up online stores for selling vaping products, and to remove any vaping products currently being sold through online channels.

No related illegal or non-compliant issues were found during this inspection. Next, the Beiyuan Market Supervision Office will continue to maintain close attention on vaping business operators, strengthen routine inspections, conduct broad investigations, update and improve records, and actively publicize, implement, urge, and remind physical store merchants of the national vaping management requirements, so as to effectively safeguard the healthy growth of young people.
