According to the Independent Women's Forum, lawmakers defended their actions by referencing a recent report from the World Health Organization, which indicated that e-cigarettes are harmful and as dangerous as traditional cigarettes. Legislators also claimed that the ban would reduce vaping among minors in Ukraine.<\/span><\/div>

Tobacco harm reduction advocates and representatives from the vaping industry condemned the WHO's report as "absurd and dangerous."<\/span><\/div>
