Pryor recently reported a remarkable increase in sales of starter kits from these companies, indicating that many smokers have taken advantage of this lockdown period to quit smoking. “The good news is that many smokers are using the lockdown to quit for health reasons and save money. As our stores reopen, we hope to encourage more Kiwi smokers to switch.”<\/div>
He added that reopening stores has other benefits beyond helping people quit smoking. “Reopening Vapo stores not only ensures retail jobs but also helps more New Zealanders quit smoking and achieve better environmental outcomes. The study titled “I feel like they welcomed me into a little family there, like I joined a team or something, I felt welcomed: The vaping experience of vape shop customers, vape shops, and the vaping community,” aimed to understand customers' experiences with vaping and vape shops, as well as the extent to which these shops should provide quitting advice.<\/div>

The compiled responses indicated that respondents viewed e-cigarettes as a quitting tool and reported very positive vaping experiences. Participants found vape shops crucial to their positive experiences, as they had access to a variety of high-quality products and reliable product information and advice.<\/div>
