CDC Sets Up Emergency Center to Investigate Vaping-Related Lung Illness
Recently, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the United States announced in a press release that it has activated its Emergency Operations Center (EOC) to help investigate various cases of lung diseases related to the use of e-cigarette products.
In response, the CDC stated that the newly activated emergency center will help address the various challenges that arise during the investigation.
According to reports, the new emergency center is composed of trained disease treatment experts and staff related to the CDC from various regions.
At the same time, the emergency center also stated that it is currently working closely with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to collect as much information as possible about the e-cigarette products used by patients, as well as any suspicious ingredients.
