TAKI Launches China's First Vape with Smart Anti-Counterfeit Label
TAKI launched two new vaping devices in China and introduced a smart anti-counterfeit label, giving its products a digital identity for authenticity verification.
On May 21, 2019, the TAKI product launch event concluded successfully, officially unveiling two new electronic cigarettes from the TAKI brand under Konjac Technology. Through deep collaboration with Wopu IoT, Konjac Technology has equipped its electronic cigarettes with a smart anti-counterfeit "identity card."
At the launch, TAKI introduced the 8 and 22 tobacco sticks, which successfully replicated the original flavors of two classic Chinese roasted tobacco products, "Furongwang" and "Suyan," while reducing the nicotine content to 24mg/ml, significantly lower than the industry standard of 50mg/ml, ensuring satisfaction while decreasing users' nicotine intake.
For traditional smokers, the mainstream electronic cigarettes currently available on the market cannot truly serve as a substitute for tobacco. The core reason is that electronic cigarettes do not replicate the flavor profile of traditional tobacco as effectively. However, the common solution adopted by the industry has been to continuously increase nicotine levels to enhance the "throat hit," attempting to replace the aroma of traditional tobacco with throat sensations, which may seem satisfying to consumers but increases the risk of addiction.
To address this core issue, TAKI collaborated with Zhang Shangming, a senior tobacco flavorist with 19 years of experience at the Burton Group. After four months of over 1,000 scent stability experiments and more than 500 comparisons with real cigarettes, they achieved a breakthrough in extracting effective components from tobacco leaf materials to replicate the aroma of tobacco in the tobacco sticks, resulting in the TAKI 8 and 22 tobacco sticks—successfully restoring the original flavors of the classic Chinese roasted tobaccos "Furongwang" and "Suyan," while also reducing nicotine content to 24mg/ml.
Moreover, the TAKI 8 and 22 tobacco sticks utilize a natural cotton atomization core structure and exclusive windmill separation technology, eliminating the risk of potential micro-dust particles from ceramic atomization cores being inhaled into the lungs, while ensuring that the e-liquid is atomized more finely at a constant temperature, maximizing the retention of fragrant molecules and "locking" in the original taste of tobacco.
TAKI, in collaboration with Wopu IoT, ensures quality by launching China's first electronic cigarette with a smart anti-counterfeit label!
TAKI employs Wopu IoT's image recognition smart anti-counterfeit technology, providing each TAKI electronic cigarette with a unique smart anti-counterfeit label, binding data to each product to enhance consumer recognition and protect the TAKI brand image.
Wopu IoT was established in 2014, formed by top experts from various fields including smart hardware, blockchain, big data, mobile internet security, and image recognition, and is a provider of next-generation blockchain smart pre-sale anti-counterfeit solutions in China. Its independently developed anti-counterfeit labels have applied for over a hundred patents and international patents in 16 countries, and have passed ISO9001 and RoHS certifications, making the labels truly non-reproducible, non-copyable, and non-recyclable, ensuring global uniqueness.
Wopu's smart labels differ from traditional labels, which are verified post-sale. Traditional labels often use hidden codes that require scratching off layers to check authenticity, which does not allow for pre-sale verification and provides a poor experience for consumers. Additionally, such anti-counterfeit labels are easily replicated, which is detrimental to brand image. In contrast, Wopu's anti-counterfeit labels use visible codes, allowing consumers to scan multiple times before purchasing, making it convenient and visual, providing the best experience. By scanning the label, consumers can confirm the authenticity of the product, truly protecting their interests. Consumers can scan the anti-counterfeit label via WeChat, with genuine product verification through image recognition, making the operation simple and the verification objective.
