Differences Between the New Ploom S 2.0 and the Old Model
JT’s Ploom S 2.0, released on July 2, 2020, is a higher-temperature heated tobacco device that heats to about 200°C, below IQOS. It comes in black, white, and silver.
On July 2, 2020, Japan Tobacco launched a “high-temperature” heated tobacco product.Originally, the “low-temperature” heated tobacco product “PloomTECH” was JT's main heated tobacco line, but Ploom S 2.0 is a higher-temperature model.
Ploom S 2.0 heats up to 200 degrees, which is lower than IQOS. The new device comes in three colors: black, white, and silver. The silver version will only be available in convenience stores after July 6. Charging time is 30 minutes shorter than before, possibly because the port has been changed to Micro USB.
