I had heard before that there were high-quality counterfeit LIL MINI devices, but I had never actually seen one. Compared with the LIL PLUS, where in the repair market at least 1 out of every 5 units brought in for repair is a fake LIL PLUS, I had always recommended that everyone buy the LIL MINI because there were fewer counterfeits. Now I have to change my mind. Without further ado, take a close look at the pictures.
Other than the different motherboard color, there are also far fewer chips.
The green one is the genuine device, and the one next to it has obviously been made with cut corners. In the end, I hope everyone finds a reliable seller when buying a device. Don’t get tricked by dishonest merchants just because the price is cheap!
