IQOS Usage Tips: Must-Read for Beginners
New to IQOS? Lightly rub the tobacco stick before use, do not twist it while inserting, avoid drawing too hard, remove it only after it cools, and clean the heating blade gently to prevent damage.
1. Before inserting the tobacco stick, gently rub and loosen it a little. Do not rotate it during insertion, as this can easily break the heating blade.
2. Do not take hard, heavy puffs. Puff gently so the tobacco oil is less likely to leak out excessively.
3. Wait until it cools down before sliding the cap or removing the tobacco stick. Do not do this while it is still hot, as it can easily create residue.
4. Never clean the heating blade while it is still hot. Be gentle when wiping it with an alcohol swab. It is a ceramic heating rod, and many cases of damage are caused by breakage.
5. Please power off the charging case before charging it. Press and hold the power button to turn it off.
6. Never place the holder into the battery case to charge together inside the case, as this can easily damage the holder’s circuit board.
7. After about ten tobacco sticks, please thoroughly clean away the residue and tobacco oil. In most cases, a red light on the device is caused by tobacco oil seeping into the bottom of the heating rod, corroding the mainboard or causing a short circuit. Residue on the heating blade can also lead to short circuits.
8. When cleaning the bottom, do not use cotton swabs with a high alcohol content, to avoid alcohol overflowing and seeping into the internal mainboard.
9. When cleaning the heating rod, it must be cleaned upside down to prevent alcohol from seeping inside.
10. When not in use, you can place the heating rod upside down to prevent tobacco oil from flowing downward!
