According to Star Advertiser, Hawaii has banned the transportation of e-cigarettes and other tobacco products.

Under the new legislation, individuals who intentionally and illegally transport e-cigarettes and other tobacco products valued at less than $10,000 may face misdemeanor charges.
Items valued over $10,000 will be classified as a Class C felony.
Governor Josh Green stated that this change will help better regulate smoking products entering the state.
“Tobacco is toxic, and tobacco use remains the most preventable cause of disease we can address; when we make the right decisions as policymakers, we can impact it; it causes death in the U.S., so this is a landmark first step to protect our keiki from the influence of Big Tobacco,” he said, using the Hawaiian word for children or descendants.
Any business selling e-cigarette products must have a retail tobacco license issued by the state. The new law will take effect on July 1.
