According to the Khmer Times, based on data from the Ministry of Health (MoH) National Center for Health Promotion (NCHP), 80% of tobacco product packaging in Cambodia carries public health warnings.

NCHP Director Chhea Chhordaphea stated that the Ministry of Health has mandated health warnings to be placed on packaging, adding that they appear on 82% of tobacco products.

"We see that most tobacco companies have fully complied with the requirement to place health warning information on product packaging. We found in a survey that 97% of the public supports a ban on smoking in workplaces and public places," she said.

Bou Vong Sokha, Deputy Secretary-General of the Ministry of Public Affairs, stated: "We will increase the consumption tax stamp on cigarette packaging, and if the department's team finds any products without a consumption tax stamp or warning label, we will take action and impose fines."
