The improved product, renamed IQOS 3 Duo, is fully compatible with existing Heets tobacco sticks, and PML pointed out that consumers do not need to repurchase or replace products to adapt to the new device.<\/div>

Kate O'Dowd, PML's business planning director, stated that as this product is launched, adult smokers are increasingly seeking a satisfying, less harmful, and more affordable alternative device.

"Affordability is an increasing concern for many adult smokers in the UK," she said. "The best choice for anyone is to completely quit tobacco and nicotine products."<\/span><\/div>

"If they do not do so, then in the long run, switching to IQOS Originals Duo may be much cheaper, with a suggested retail price of £5 for 20 HEETS—less than half the average price of a pack of 20 cigarettes."<\/span><\/div>

O'Dowd continued: Philip Morris International is offering a multi-category smoke-free product portfolio, including heated tobacco, electronic vaping, and oral smoke-free products, with various uses, flavors, prices, and technology options, aimed at accelerating the realization of a smoke-free future.<\/div>
