Unlike PMI's Heets tobacco sticks, Terea sticks have a sealed tip that leaves no residue, avoiding the inconvenience of cleaning the device after each use.
According to PMI, the Yangsan factory is certified for quality management (ISO-9001), environmental management (ISO-14001), and safety and health management (ISO-45001) by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
The factory's quality control team has received international recognition as a testing institution under the Korean Laboratory Accreditation Program.

"All workers at Philip Morris Korea's Yangsan factory take pride in producing high-quality non-combustible tobacco products like Terea, which contribute to the company's vision of a 'smoke-free future' and the development of the national economy," said Zia Ahmed Karim, Manufacturing Director of Philip Morris Korea.
"We will continue to ensure the quality control of our products and seek environmentally friendly management in the future by providing better alternatives for adult smokers."
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Yangsan factory, which employs 600 people. Since 2017, PMI has invested over 300 billion won (approximately $225.83 million) in the production of non-combustible products at this factory.
