According to the National newspaper, Saudi Arabia has banned the sale of tobacco to individuals under 18 years old and prohibited smoking in areas where children are present.

The law also prohibits the import and sale of toys or candies that resemble cigarettes or candies that feature images encouraging children to smoke.

Saudi Arabia aims to reduce tobacco consumption to 5% by 2030.

In 2019, the country banned smoking in public places such as airports, restaurants, educational institutions, and public transportation.

Saudi Arabia has also imposed taxes on tobacco products to curb smoking and has increased the price of shisha by 100%.

At the same time, the Saudi Ministry of Health has opened smoking cessation clinics to facilitate access to treatment services and provide counseling for those wishing to quit smoking.<\/span><\/div>
