After IQOS in the UK, Korea's LIL Launches LIL HYBRID Dual-Use Device
After IQOS launched a vape-style product in the UK, KT&G introduced the LIL HYBRID in Korea. This dual-use device supports both heated tobacco sticks and a dedicated liquid cartridge system.
KT&G of Korea seems determined to compete head-on with IQOS. Some time ago, IQOS launched an e-liquid version of its product in the UK, and at the end of November KT&G also released its new device, the LIL HYBRID, in Korea. The LIL HYBRID can also be considered an innovative product. According to information available online, this device can be used by inserting tobacco sticks for heating, and it can also use dedicated e-liquid pods.
The lil Hybrid combines removable e-liquid pods and HNB tobacco sticks. This line is branded as Miix. Miix comes in three different flavors: Miix Presso, Miix Mix, and Miix Ice, and the tobacco sticks do not contain any flavor additives. These tobacco sticks and Miix pods are compatible only with the lil Hybrid. The lil Hybrid is priced at 110,000 won (US$97), the pods are 500 won, and a pack of 20 Miix sticks costs 4,500 won.
