Russian Medical Expert: Vaping More Likely to Trigger Stroke Risk
Vaping devices greatly increase the risk of cardiovascular disease, including symptoms such as arrhythmia, chest pain, and rapid heartbeat. Toxic substances also raise the risk of blood clots and atherosclerosis, especially among women.
[Two Supreme News] According to a recent report from A42.RU, Alexey Alexeyevko, chief cardiologist of Kuzbass and Candidate of Medical Sciences, said that vaping devices are extremely harmful and may significantly increase the risk of cardiovascular disease.
He stressed that vaping is more likely than conventional cigarettes to trigger heart disease and stroke, with the risk of heart attack increasing by 56% and the risk of stroke by one-third.
Alexeyevko explained that vaping causes blood vessel walls to lose elasticity and affects oxygen supply, making users more likely to experience arrhythmia, chest pain, and rapid heartbeat. In addition, toxic substances produced by vaping can increase the risk of blood clots and atherosclerosis, with this risk being higher in women.
