Sniffer dog helps UK police seize illegal tobacco products

In a joint operation, Glasgow Trading Standards and police in the UK used a sniffer dog named Boo to seize thousands of illegal cigarettes, illegal vaping devices, and tobacco products from four shops.

According to glasgowtimes, in a joint operation carried out by Glasgow Trading Standards and police in the UK, a sniffer dog named Boo helped officers seize more than 20,000 illegal cigarettes, nearly 1,000 illegal vaping devices, and nearly 7 kilograms of tobacco from four shops across the city. 

The operation took place on Wednesday. Boo is Glasgow’s only sniffer dog specially trained to detect tobacco.
