UK Vaping Expo Cools Down: Exhibitor Numbers Halved, Some Visitors Came Only for Free Products

  The number of exhibitors at this UK expo was effectively cut in half, and visitor enthusiasm was also low.

【Two Supremes reporting from Birmingham】Since the opening of the 2023 UK vaping expo on September 27, Two Supremes observed over two consecutive days that, unlike the bustling crowds seen at the UK show during the same period last year, this year’s event was relatively quiet. Both the number of exhibitors and the number of visitors dropped sharply—so much so that the atmosphere could even be described as bleak.

Two Supremes learned that more than 150 companies exhibited at this year’s UK vaping expo, only about half the number of exhibitors at last year’s event. The number of visitors on site also fell sharply, and a considerable portion of attendees appeared mainly interested in the free vaping products being handed out. Many visitors were seen carrying bags of various sizes filled with free vapes. They said the £15 admission ticket was well worth it.

One attendee told Two Supremes that she has visited the UK expo for several consecutive years and felt that this year’s turnout was much lower than both the May show this year and the event held during the same period last year.
